When should I replace my water heater?
Many common problems with water heaters are fixable—and relatively inexpensive. The water heater's thermostat could be broken, a heating element could have failed, a water supply line could be clogged, the pilot light could be off (if a gas hot water heater), or the heating element could be faulty (if an electric water heater).
